PHOTO-AGING Protocol: 4-Step Chemical Peeling for Photo-Aging Treatment

Ferulac Valencia Peel’s Composition:

Application Procedure
Step 1: Skin Preparation
Proper skin preparation is essential. The process begins with thorough cleansing using SENSYSES Liposomal Cleanser, followed by a DEGREASING SOLUTION. After cleansing, it’s important to protect delicate areas such as the eye contour, mouth area, and nose wings with a suitable product like Silkses Facial Moisturizing Protector. This step helps to minimize potential irritation in sensitive areas during the peel application.
Step 2: Applying Ferulac Valencia Peel
The process begins with applying 1-3 coats of the peel solution using a gauze or brush. Each dose indicatively should include 2 pipettes of the product. Start application from the most resistant (ie. forehead,cheeks) to the most sensitive areas (upper lip,nose) . Between coats, allow the product to dry. For enhanced penetration, gently massage the product until dry.
Step 3: Sealing the treatment
Seal the treated area with one coat of 3-Retises CT Yellow Peel. Apply 1/2 ampoule with a gentle massage until completely absorbed and follow with 1/2 sachet of cream. Allow to work for 6-8 hours, before rinsing the area with plenty of water.
Step 4: Applying Sun Protection
Apply a generous amount of Sunyses MD Protect & Repair or Sunyses MD Natural Skin Tone by Mediderma Cosmetics and re-apply every 3 hours to avoid sun damage.
Recommended Treatment Frequency
It is recommended to undergo 6-8 sessions of the PHOTO-AGING Protocol, with intervals of 3-4 weeks between each session. The total number of treatments required may vary depending on the patient’s progress and individual needs.
Post-treatment Guidelines:
To maximize the results of Ferulac Valencia Peel while ensuring safety, patients should follow specific post-treatment guidelines. After the procedure, mild to extreme redness, temporary tightness, itching, swelling, and dryness of the skin may occur, similar to a light sunburn. These effects typically subside within 2-3 days. Applying a cold compress gently to the treated areas can help alleviate any burning or irritation. The use of a repairing cream 2-3 times per day is highly recommended.
It is crucial to avoid excessive heat and direct sun exposure, including tanning beds and self-tanners, for four weeks after treatment. Patients should refrain from strenuous exercise for 2-3 days post-treatment to prevent exacerbating inflammation.
